STAGES is a Language-based preschool preparatory for the developmentally delayed. STAGES is NOT an academic program, we focus on teaching children the skills they will need to be successful academic learners later in preschool and kindergarten.
These skills include:
- Cause/Effect
- Appropriate play
- Self-regulation and emotional regulation
- Flexibility
- Functional communication
Our Purpose
The purpose of STAGES is to support the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of preschool aged children, who have been identified as developmentally at risk. Stages will accomplish this goal through the use of developmental play techniques that target the following critical areas of early childhood development.

- Physical Development
- Social-Emotional
At STAGES we believe that “Play is a Child’s Work”. We strive to provide every child with a quality early childhood experience by exposing children to learning and development through play. STAGES provides a safe, developmentally modified, preschool preparatory environment, where children with developmental delays can grow and advance in the major childhood developmental areas with the support of early interventionist and parents in collaboration.
